Anil Kapoor surprised his fans by deleting all of his posts on Instagram, including his profile picture, on October 20. His daughter Sonam Kapoor and son-in-law Anand Ahuja reacted to this. Fans began to speculate that this might be related to an announcement about “Mr India 2.” In a recent interview, Anil Kapoor’s brother, Boney Kapoor, shared his thoughts on the situation.
When asked about Anil Kapoor deleting his Instagram posts, Boney Kapoor explained that he hasn’t seen Anil’s Instagram profile yet, so he can’t comment on “Mr India 2” until he knows more. Boney mentioned that Anil had told him he wants to show him something but that he’ll only talk about “Mr India 2” when more information becomes available.
Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor seems to have made his social media presence disappear, much like his character in the movie “Mr India” from 1987.
Speaking of the film “Mr India,” it was released in 1987 and produced by Boney Kapoor. The movie starred Anil Kapoor as a man who runs an orphanage and gains the power of invisibility through a special watch. The late Sridevi also starred in the film as a journalist.
The film, directed by Shekhar Kapur, featured actors like Amrish Puri as Mogambo, Satish Kaushik as Calendar, Harish Patel as Roopchand, and Annu Kapoor as Editor Gaitonde.
As for Anil Kapoor’s upcoming projects, he is set to appear in “Animal” with Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, which is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 1. He also has “Fighter,” directed by Siddharth Anand, in the pipeline. This movie stars Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone and will hit the big screen on Republic Day in 2024.
