Meghna Gulzar made a movie called “Sam Bahadur,” with Vicky Kaushal playing the lead role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The film was released on December 1, facing competition from another big movie called “Animal.”
Despite this, “Sam Bahadur” is doing well at the box office. Recently, reports revealed how much the actors in the film were paid.
According to the information, Vicky Kaushal, who played Sam Manekshaw, received a significant amount of Rs 10 crore. Sanya Malhotra, who portrayed Silloo Manekshaw (Sam’s wife), earned an impressive Rs 1 crore.
Fatima Sana Shaikh, who played the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, reportedly received Rs 1 crore for her convincing performance.
Neeraj Kabi, depicting India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, received around Rs 30 lakh for his role. Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, who played Yahya Khan, earned Rs 15 lakh, and Edward Sonnenblick, portraying Lord Mountbatten, received around Rs 30 lakh for his contribution to the film.
