Vijay Varma, known for his role in the movie Jaane Jaan, has become a well-known name in the entertainment industry. However, before finding success, he faced challenges and even got dropped from a film once. In a recent interview, he shared that this happened because the filmmaker’s astrologer didn’t believe in him.
According to Vijay, he initially got the role but was later asked to send some photos. After doing so, he was unexpectedly removed from the film. He didn’t disclose who made the request but mentioned that an astrologer, referred to as a jyotish, didn’t find his pictures appealing and didn’t support casting him. Despite facing such setbacks, Vijay never thought of giving up.
He credited his determination to veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah, who advised aspiring actors to be prepared for tough times and to stick to their path without a backup plan.
On a different note, Vijay Varma’s movie Jaane Jaan is a Hindi adaptation of a 2005 Japanese murder mystery novel. The film is set in Kalimpong and revolves around the lives of a single mother, a school teacher, and a cop, all connected by a murder.
