Ariana Grande is happy about having blonde hair for one year! She shared a post on her Instagram Story to celebrate. In the post, she showed a behind-the-scenes look at how her hair became blonde in October 2022.
Ariana Grande marked one year of having blonde hair. She wrote, “Happy one year as a blonde” on a selfie in front of a mirror. The selfie showed her hair being turned blonde with foil. She also added emojis of a blonde person with a ponytail to the post. In the picture, you can see Francesco De Chiara, the person who first lightened her hair, putting bleach on her hair, which used to be brown.
The singer also shared another old selfie from October 21, 2022, with the caption “Before @frankhaircolour.” Ariana first showed her blonde look last year and playfully called it “new earrings.” She had gone blonde before in 2018, but this change was a big deal.
Ariana went blonde for her role as Glinda the Good Witch in the movie version of the Broadway musical Wicked, which was announced in November 2021. She is in the movie with Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba.
Ariana has been seen with her blonde hair on the Wicked set in Buckingham, England, by herself and with her co-stars. She also wore the blonde look when she watched a performance of the Broadway musical & Juliet, which has two of her songs: Problem and Break Free. Right now, the filming of Wicked is paused, and Ariana has said she won’t make new music until she’s done playing the blonde witch.

Ariana, who is 30, recently finished her divorce from Gomez, who is 28. This happened a few weeks after Gomez asked for a divorce in Los Angeles County on September 18. They got married in May 2021. Ariana is now in a new relationship with her Wicked co-star, Ethan Slater. In July, it came out that Ethan had separated from his wife, Lilly Jay, who he married in the fall of 2018.
So, Ariana Grande is celebrating one year of having blonde hair and is not working on a new album because she is focused on her role as the Good Witch.
