The trailer for the film was launched on November 23 in New Delhi, where Bobby Deol shared some details about how he got the role.
During the trailer launch in New Delhi, Bobby Deol talked about how he never expected to land such a great role considering the state of his career. He recalled receiving a message from the director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, expressing interest in meeting him. Initially, Bobby wondered if it was a prank, but it turned out to be genuine.
Bobby shared, “I quickly called him, and we decided to meet. When we met, he showed me a photograph.” The director had a picture of Bobby from a time when he wasn’t very busy with work but used to play Celebrity Cricket League. Bobby explained, “He showed me a photo where I was looking into the distance. He said he wanted to cast me because of the expression in that photo. I thought, ‘Alright, even my unemployed days turned out to be useful.'”
“Animal” is set to be released on December 1.
