Even famous people get scared when their health takes a bad turn. Mark Sheppard, known for his role in the TV show Supernatural, recently went through a really scary experience. He had six heart attacks in one day, but thankfully, he survived.
Mark Sheppard, who played the character Crowley on Supernatural, had a tough time last Saturday when he had six heart attacks. He had to go to the hospital and get serious treatments to recover.
The 59-year-old actor shared the details of his close call on Instagram after it happened. He collapsed in his kitchen on the way to an appointment. In his Instagram post, he said, “Six massive heart attacks later, and being brought back from the dead 4 times, I apparently had a 100% blockage in my left anterior descending artery.”
He explained that what he experienced is called a ‘Widowmaker’ heart attack. Mark Sheppard expressed his gratitude to his wife Sarah Louise Fudge, the Los Angeles Fire Department, and the hospital that took care of him.
Many fans and friends commented on his post, wishing him well and hoping for a speedy recovery. Felicia Day, his co-star from Supernatural, wrote, “Omg Mark, I am so glad you’re recovering. This is awful! Sending all my love to you and the family.”
Fans of Supernatural also remembered another star from the show, Nicki Aycox, who sadly passed away after suffering a heart attack last year. She played the role of Meg Masters on the show, and it’s a coincidence that both Aycox and Sheppard played demon characters on Supernatural.
