He’s working with director Atlee on this project, and it’s Atlee’s first venture as a producer in Hindi cinema. Varun was seen at the Mumbai airport on October 20, looking different, possibly for his role in VD 18.
In the recent airport photos, Varun is seen arriving in style, heading to an undisclosed location for work. He has a neat, short haircut and a clean-shaven look, which has sparked speculation that he might be playing a police officer in the movie directed by Kalees.
Varun looked stylish in a shiny silver jacket, a black t-shirt, matching black joggers, black sneakers, a black cap, and a statement watch when he was photographed at the airport on October 20.
VD 18 is reported to be a mass action film with Varun Dhawan in the lead role. The movie marks the Bollywood debut of South Indian National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh and features Wamiqa Gabbi from the film Jubilee in a significant role. The film is jointly produced by Atlee and Murad Khetani and is scheduled to release on May 31, 2024.
