After that, Sanjay went ahead with Ranveer and Deepika. And whoa, “Bajirao Mastani” turned out to be a mega hit, both for Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It’s like the 11th highest-grossing Bollywood flick ever, making over Rs. 300 crore globally.
This epic love story had Ranveer as Peshwa Bajirao and Deepika as Mastani, the warrior princess. They fell in love on the battlefield and, you guessed it, things didn’t end well.
Now, for what these stars have been up to lately: Ranveer did this movie “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” with Alia Bhatt, and people loved it for its lively characters, cool music, and fancy sets – classic Karan Johar style.
And Deepika, she had a meaty role in Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan,” directed by Atlee. This movie hit theaters and went over the Rs. 100 crore mark worldwide on the first day. Talk about a big deal!
