At 35 years old, she’s been with Rich Paul for two years. However, some recent comments she made during a concert have caused some people to wonder if they secretly got married.
So, during this show in Las Vegas on September 16, Adele was talking to a fan, and she called Rich Paul her husband. That’s got folks speculating about whether there’s a secret wedding going on.
This fan, they joked and asked if she’d marry them. Adele was like, “You can’t marry me. I’m straight, my love, and my husband is here tonight.” And when the fan kept going, asking if she’d at least try, Adele was all, “No, I don’t want to try. I’m with Rich. You’re crazy, leave me alone.”
So, the internet blew up with comments about it. Somebody said, “Wait, SHE SAID HUSBAND!” And others are like, “Did she secretly get married?” And one person asked, “So, husband???? @Adele.”
For those who don’t know, Adele and Rich Paul first showed up together in public in July 2021 at an NBA game. And later that year, she talked about their relationship in an interview with The Rolling Stone.
So, they actually met at a friend’s birthday party a while back. The DJ was playing a ton of Drake songs, and Adele was like, ‘Hey, can we get something else in here?’ At first, she didn’t tell her friends much about their thing. But eventually, she felt like sharing it with everyone, and she called it the most amazing and effortless relationship she’s ever had.
Adele also talked about introducing Rich to her son. This is different from her previous marriage to Simon Konecki, which lasted three years and gave her a 10-year-old son named Angelo. They split in 2019, and Adele talked about how tough it was. So, even though Adele might have been joking when she called Rich her husband at the concert, fans can’t help but wonder if there’s more to it.
