The ticket prices for the India vs Pakistan match in the 2023 World Cup, scheduled for October 14, have shot up to hundreds of thousands of rupees in the resale market.
Right now, you can find tickets for the match being sold for as much as Rs 4,529,034 on the Viagogo website. They used to be even higher, going over Rs 57 lakh at one point.
What’s surprising is that these tickets originally cost just Rs 2000 on the official BookMyShow website, where you’re supposed to buy World Cup 2023 tickets.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is getting ready to release about four lakh World Cup tickets, but the resale market prices aren’t showing any signs of coming down.
BCCI has announced that they’ll start selling tickets for all the tournament matches at 8 pm IST today. We’ll have to wait and see how quickly the tickets for the World Cup games, especially India vs Pakistan, get snapped up.

This 12th match of the tournament has made hotel room prices in the city go up ten times, reaching Rs 1 lakh per day.
All of this increase in ticket prices and hotel costs in Ahmedabad has made cricket fans really upset.
