Apple recently introduced the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max at an event called ‘Wonderlust’ that they streamed live from Apple Park in California. These phones run on Apple’s advanced A17 Pro chip. They also come with a customizable Action button, similar to the one on the Apple Watch Ultra. Unlike the earlier models, these new iPhones use a USB Type-C charging port. The top-tier model has a periscope camera for better zooming capabilities.

Now, for the pricing and when you can get your hands on them. The iPhone 15 Pro starts at Rs. 1,34,900 for the base 128GB version, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max is going for Rs. 1,59,900 with 256GB of storage. They also come in 256GB, 512GB, and a whopping 1TB storage options. You can start pre-ordering them on September 15, and they’ll be up for grabs on September 22. Apple offers these models in Black Titanium, Blue Titanium, Natural Titanium, and White Titanium finishes.
As for what’s inside and the features they bring, the iPhone 15 Pro has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max boasts a 6.7-inch version. Both screens use Apple’s Ceramic Shield material and can go up to a dazzling 2,000 nits of peak brightness. They’re rated IP68 for dust and water resistance. Inside, they use Apple’s new 3nm A17 Pro chip, which gives a nice 10% boost in performance and up to 3 times more efficiency compared to those other guys.
Now, the construction bit – these phones are built using Grade 5 titanium and an aluminum sub-structure. That makes ’em strong and light. They also got this new Action button that takes over from the Mute switch, and you can program it to do different stuff.
Camera-wise, they got a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/1.78 aperture and this cool anti-glare coating. There’s also a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The iPhone 15 Pro includes a 12-megapixel 3x telephoto camera, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max has a 12-megapixel periscope camera with an f/2.8 aperture, giving you up to 5x optical zoom.
Both these models in the iPhone 15 series come with a 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera with an f/1.9 aperture for your selfies and video chats.
Just like the regular models, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max come with a USB Type-C port that has USB 3.0 speeds, offering up to 10 Gbps data transfer speeds if you get the right cable. Apple claims the iPhone 15 Pro will last you a full day on one charge, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max supposedly goes even longer on a single charge. These phones also support the Qi2 standard for faster wireless charging speeds, according to Apple
