In an interview, Kareena talked openly about her chances in Hollywood. She said, “I’m not really tempted to work in Hollywood because I’m very busy here in India. Plus, I’m a mother of two, so I need to spend time with my kids, who are still very young. So, there’s no strong motivation for me to pursue a Hollywood career.”
When asked if being a devoted mother to her sons, Jeh and Taimur, has influenced her role as a protective mother in ‘Jaane Jaan,’ Kareena admitted that it might have had some impact. She said, “I’m sure it has. I’ve played a mother before, like in ‘Ra One.’ But I don’t directly connect my personal life to my work; they are quite different. However, there might be some subconscious influence.”
Kareena is all exicted about ‘Jaane Jaan’ and her team-up with filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh for this thrilling project. She thinks the movie is the “perfect thriller” and mentioned it’s been on Sujoy’s to-do list for a good decade but got stuck ’cause of some casting issues. She’s pretty stoked that everything finally fell into place.

She shared her excitement, saying, “I always wanted to do a thriller with Sujoy, especially after his killer work in ‘Kahani.’ This one’s a bang-on thriller with the right vibes.”
This mystery thriller is a desi version of the Japanese novel ‘The Devotion of Suspect X,’ published back in 2005. It’s gonna be a total mind-bender for the audience.
