Tucker’s one of those people who always wants to be in control, so he might be going after Phyllis to regain that control. He’s also banking on Phyllis’s long-standing grudge against Diane Jenkins-Abbott to motivate her; their history is a factor in Tucker’s scheme. He believes Phyllis possesses unique skills crucial for his takeover plan.
Phyllis might feel cornered by Tucker, who could use her past actions against her to force cooperation. Though Tucker keeps his plans somewhat mysterious, Phyllis is determined to dig up more information. She suspects Tucker’s concocting a plot to seize Jabot.
Apart from the showdown with Phyllis, Tucker’s in for a heated argument with Jack Abbott. Jack warns Tucker to steer clear of Ashley and hints that he’ll regret any moves against Jabot.
Meanwhile, Tessa Porter makes a return to Genoa City after her recent trip. Her arrival leads to heartwarming reunions with loved ones. Mariah Copeland had initially accepted Devon Hamilton-Winters’ offer to move into the Chancellor mansion with Aria Porter-Copeland while Tessa was away. However, Mariah has been second-guessing her decision. She’s concerned that a new environment might add stress to Aria’s life, especially given her hearing issues.
Tessa will likely reassure Mariah that her choice was a good one and that Aria will adjust well to their new surroundings. Depending on the show’s production plans, Mariah and Tessa might decide to stay at the Chancellor mansion a bit longer.
