In Hillsborough, California, there’s this really old estate that’s been around for a hundred years. Elon Musk, the tech guy who’s into space stuff, had this big fancy house there. He decided to sell it, and guess what? Someone’s interested in buying it for almost $32 million!
The house is huge, like 16,000 square feet. It’s in this fancy place called Silicon Valley, where lots of tech people live. Just recently, they agreed to sell it, but we don’t know the exact price yet. The deal isn’t done.
Elon Musk, he’s like around 50 years old, I think. He put up this tweet back in June, saying he’s gonna sell this mega mansion. He’s all like, “Yeah, I want a big family to enjoy it,” and stuff. So, he put it up for sale. At first, he was asking for a crazy 37.5 million, but then he was like, “Nah, let’s make it 31.99 million,” in October. And get this, these two real estate folks, Mary and Brent Gullixson, they’re in on helping him sell it.
This mansion? It’s not your regular run-of-the-mill place. It’s on this massive piece of land, like 47 acres or something. You can totally see the San Francisco Bay and the whole city skyline from there. This French dude, Count Christian de Guigné, way back in 1912, he built it. He rolls into California, falls for this lady Mary Katherine Parrott, they get hitched, and he’s all like, “Let’s start some major businesses, yo!”
Inside, this mansion is seriously decked out. There are like seven bedrooms and almost ten bathrooms. Imagine that! There’s this huge living room that’s like something out of a movie, a library with walls covered in leather – pretty fancy, huh? The kitchen, man, it’s like a dream for a chef. And get this, they’ve got rooms for eating and jamming to music, and get this, you can even like merge them into this big party zone.
So, like, they’ve done some modern upgrades to this old place. They sneaked in some high-tech cables under the driveway, cranked up the security system – talk about feeling safe – and yeah, they even jazzed up the sound system. But the agents, Mary and Brent, they’re keeping hush-hush about the deal details.
Outside, there’s this cool reservoir, a pool where you can chill, trails for wandering around, and listen to this – a three-car garage and this carport that’s got room for eight cars! Can you believe it?
